Young Creative Natasha Mitchell

This collection is about the stages of mental health. From coping methods that we use to live our day to day lives to realising that our lives are not straightforward and simple as society and social media makes us believe; they can be crazy and confusing that they are ‘stranger than fiction’. Baking and caring for houseplants are two ways that help me when I am having a low point. The simple act of following a recipe or watering some plants can make you feel in control and seeing the results of those tasks can bring a spark of joy at a much needed time.

Being young in the creative industry and suffering from mental health issues can be draining, so it is important we support and motivate each other, to keep our minds happy and healthy so we can keep creating.
