  • WINNING DESIGN: Abbie Hopper

After receiving many, many entries to the NHS Design Competition and with some fantastic responses the judging was incredibly difficult. We landed on Abbie Hopper's sunflower with the uplifting words of 'you are thriving'.

The idea of a simple, but cute and impactful motif on a T-shirt portrays many things, positivity, encouragement and hope in a way that is relatable to everyone.

  • Things I Wish I Knew Before Graduating

Thoughts of ‘what next?’ and ‘where do I go from here?’ crept in regularly and I realised that graduation was fast approaching and I really had no idea what direction I wanted to go in.
  • Travelling to the Middle East to share my story

Being invited by the Middle East Youth EXPO to present in Abu Dhabi was an honour which I did not believe could be true. With an open mind and a hopeful heart, I travelled with the wish to share the magic of creation, to teach how mental health is not a dead-end.
